Man charged with endangering welfare of child after smoking marijuana in front of kids

A Miller County man has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, and possession of a controlled substance after Miller County deputies pulled over a vehicle for a defective headlight.

Deputies said they could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

The driver, Dylan Larock, admitted to having smoked marijuana, officers said.

Deputies said they searched the car and found multiple pills and marijuana.

According to the passenger, Larock was smoking marijuana with their 5-year-old and 1-year-old in the back seat of the car.

The passenger also told deputies the kids were in direct contact with the marijuana smoke.

According to the probable cause statement, deputies said the kids were at great risk of becoming intoxicated based on the strong odor of marijuana coming from the car.
