Man arrested, accused of first-degree kidnapping
Mathew Edward Greenlee, 38, is in custody after being arrested for kidnapping in Boone County early Sunday morning.
He is charged with one count of first-degree kidnapping/facilitating a felony/inflicting injury/terrorizing.
Law enforcement officials say Greenlee allegedly locked the victim in a bedroom for a substantial period of time, aiming to terrorize the victim.
The officials say the victim was hesitant to have law enforcement respond, in fear of her life.
Greenlee’s initial arraignment was scheduled for Monday at 1:30.
His bond is set at $100,000.
