The Mizzou softball team secured its first conference series win since the beginning of April in an 8-7 win over the No. 12 Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday night.

It was a shootout from start to finish, as there were a total of five lead changes along with a combined total of five home runs between the two teams.

Six Tigers brought runners across home plate, including Jenna Laird, Brooke Wilmes, Kimberly Wert, Alex Honnold, Kara Daly, and Emma Raabe. Wilmes, Daly, and Wert all homered in the win, as well.

Sophomore Laurin Krings went four innings in the circle with two strikeouts and four earned runs allowed. But pitcher Jordan Weber stole the show going six up and six down in the final two innings to secure a win.
