Fulton man charged after threatening neighbor with sword
A Fulton man has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon after threatening his neighbor with a sword.
Anselmo Padilla, 47, of Fulton, was banging on the ceiling and walls of his apartment while screaming and yelling. His neighbor went to tell him to keep it down, and he answered holding a sword.
Padilla told his neighbor he would stab her with the sword and kill her. The neighbor ran to her apartment and called police.
Padilla told police that he was so intoxicated he couldn’t remember the incident. The walls of his apartment had major damage, according to one of the responding officers.
