Miller County woman charged with child abuse after repeatedly hitting 5-year-old with switch

A Miller County woman was charged with child abuse after hitting a 5-year-old with a switch.

Tiffany Forsythe was charged after the 5-year-old told a family member that she had been “whipped with a whooping stick,” and had bruises and welts that were “inconsistent with discipline in any reasonable manner.”

Forsythe admitted to spanking the child, but not with a foreign object.
