Mizzou golf’s postseason run ends in quarterfinal round of match play

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's golf team bowed out the SEC Championships on Saturday afternoon, as the group came up just short against LSU in match play. The Tigers fell in a 3-1-1 match.

It was just the second time program history that the Tigers had advanced to the match play portion, but the team's fifth place finish in stroke-play marks the best in program history at the SEC Championships.

  • Mizzou's Tommy Boone fell to Nicholas Arcement (2 & 1)
  • Mizzou's Jack Laudin defeated Drew Doyle (20 holes)
  • Mizzou's Charlie Crockett fell to Cohen Trolio (21 holes)
  • Mizzou's Jack Parker fell to Garrett Barber (1 UP)
  • Mizzou's Yu-Ta Tsai tied Michael Sanders
