Callaway County deputies arrest man accused of having methamphetamine and marijuana

Callaway County deputies arrested Charles Pugh after officers stopped Pugh’s vehicle for a registration violation early Tuesday morning.

Deputies said when they made contact with Pugh, officers detected the presence of criminal activity and a K-9 unit was called in to assist.

Deputies said evidence of drug activity was located in the vehicle including methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Pugh was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail.

Pugh has a bond of $5,500.
