Moniteau County deputies arrest man accused of attempting to distribute drugs

Moniteau County deputies arrested Caleb Sewell, 26, on Monday after they stopped Sewell’s vehicle just east of Tipton.

Deputies said the vehicle stop was part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity in the area.

Deputies said when they searched the car they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia which appeared to be packaged for distribution.

Sewell was arrested on suspicion of distribution of a controlled substance and has a bond of $50,000.
