Jefferson City man charged with harassment, accused of making a bomb threat at Walmart

Jefferson City police arrested Carl Rhoads after officers responded to Walmart for a bomb threat on Monday.

According to the probable cause statement, a Walmart employee located a note in the restroom that implicated a bomb was on the premise.

Police said the store was evacuated and closed for two hours while it was searched utilizing explosive detecting K-9 units.

Police said video surveillance showed Rhoads entering into the restroom.

Rhoads told investigators he enjoys the chaos and corruption caused by his actions but never intended on harming anyone.

Rhoads was charged with harassment.
