Emergency crews respond to fall victim, find man in flower bed
A man is recovering after a fall in east Columbia over the weekend.
According to Assistant Chief Brad Fraizer with the Columbia Police Department, the victim was found Sunday morning in the 1100 block of Ashland Road in a flower bed.
“It appeared, based on observations and statements made from others at the scene, that he may have been outside for several hours,” said Fraizer.
The man’s condition has not been released, but he was taken to University Hospital for treatment.
