TUESDAY: It will be a blustery day with high temperatures only near 50 and northwesterly winds at 18-22 mph, gusting to 32 mph at times. EXTENDED: It will be cold Tuesday night as we drop into the mid to upper 30s. It’s possible that if the winds die down enough through the night Tuesday we could see our first widespread frost, especially in wind protected valleys. Wednesday will feel like fall as high temperatures only reach the lower 60s. After warming back ito near 70 Thursday, another cold front moves in late Thursday, ushering in drastically cooler temperatures. This will drop our high temperatures into the upper 30s Thursday night, only reaching the upper 40s Friday and Saturday. The first freeze of the season is expected Friday and Saturday nights as temperatures drop to near 30 with some upper 20s possible. With the first hard freeze likely upon us, it’s important to make sure you and your home are prepared. The weekend looks dry but chilly with days only warming into the upper 40s to near 50.
