Kentucky rolls past Mizzou in series opener

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team started of its three-game series against Kentucky with a 15-6 loss on Thursday night.

The Tigers led in the second inning courtesy of a three-run homer from Torin Montgomery, however, the offense could not find a way to surge past the Wildcats. Rock Bridge alum Spencer Miles tossed four strikeouts over five innings, but allowed eight runs.

Kentucky's Daniel Harris IV and Montgomery both tied for the game-high four RBI through the match up.

Up next - Mizzou and Kentucky will continue the series on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Taylor Stadium.
