Tracking a beautiful Sunday before overnight storms
Tonight: Winds remain out of the southwest at 8-12 mph with mostly clear skies. The overnight low drops to the lower '40s.
Tomorrow: Temperatures soar into the upper '70s with mostly clear skies making for a beautiful day. Clouds begin to surge in from the west late Sunday afternoon.
Extended: Storms begin to pop up Sunday evening ahead of an approaching cold front. Beginning after six Sunday night, storms will begin to grow as they push to the east. Some storms may become strong to severe early in the evening. The greatest threats will be hail in access of 1" in diameter and strong winds. Storms begin to lose intensity as the night continues on and become more widespread eventually tapering off Monday around noon. Chances of storms remain with Mid-Missouri lasting through Wednesday night.
