Boone County woman arrested on suspicion of stabbing a man with a steak knife

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department arrested Brittny Oliver on Thursday after deputies were dispatched to the 7100 block of Wagon Trail Road.

According to the probable cause statement, deputies were dispatched to Wagon Trail Road after they received a call about a disturbance between a man and a woman.

Deputies said they made contact with Oliver, who said she had an argument with a man inside a vehicle while they were driving.

Oliver told deputies she slapped and hit the man multiple times.

Deputies said they spoke with the man who said Oliver punched him in the back of the head multiple times, stabbed him with long lighter in the back and stabbed him four times in the forearm and hand with a steak knife.

The man told deputies that he grabbed the knife and threw it out the window.

Deputies said when the two got out of the vehicle, Oliver continued to hit the man in the back of his head over 100 times with her fist and a beer can.

Deputies said they asked Oliver if she had anything illegal on her person, and Oliver answered yes and gave them a clear white plastic bag with a crystalline substance in it she said was meth.

Oliver was charged with domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
