Hot, humid weather continues for the first weekend of fall

TONIGHT: We’ll have another warm, muggy night with lows near 70 and a light southerly breeze under 8 mph.

FRIDAY: Temperatures will start at 71 and reach 88 by noon and into the lower 90s in the afternoon under mostly sunny skies. The humidity will make it feel like the mid to upper 90s in the afternoon with a southerly breeze up to 10 mph. It will be a warm evening for SportsZone Football Friday with temperatures in the 80s.

EXTENDED: The humidity will be slightly lower this weekend but it will still be hot as high temperatures reach 90-92 both Saturday and Sunday with plenty of sunshine. The Mizzou football game will be another hot one as temperatures remain in the mid 80s for kickoff and remaining warm and dry throughout the entire game. Heading into the work week, Monday will still be hot with high temperatures in the upper 80s. There is a chance of t-storms Monday mainly west of HWY 63 with the chance increasing Monday night into Tuesday as a strong cold front moves through. This front will drop temperatures into the lower 80s Tuesday and mid to upper 70s Wednesday, with nights cooling into the 50s. The cooler weather will last through the end of next week and weekend.
