Jefferson City inmate dies at 68, Department of Corrections say natural causes to blame

Department of Corrections announced on Monday that inmate and offender Jesse Moore, 68, was pronounced dead at the Capitol Regional Medical Center on Friday morning.

Moore had been confined at the Jefferson City Correctional Center.

The department says Moore was serving 90 years for three counts of sodomy from St. Louis City. He was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on Feb. 27, 1986.

The department says Moore died of apparent natural causes.
