Officers find drugs and paraphernalia inside Moberly man’s home

A Moberly man is charged after police found meth and a gun in his house.

According to the probable cause statement, the Moberly Police Department and other agencies executed a narcotics search warrant to a residence in the 1900 block of Eastbrook Court.

When officers entered the residence there were five people inside, including the homeowner, Edgel Fry.

During the search, officers discovered a pistol, a plastic bag containing methamphetamine located in Fry’s pants pocket, a digital scale testing positive for meth and other drug-related items.

When police interviewed Fry, he admitted to using meth recreationally and said others sell meth from his residence but denied selling the drug himself.

Officers interviewed a woman also found inside the residence who admitted to using meth and stated Fry was the supplier of the drug.

Fry was put into custody and charged with delivery of a controlled substance, keeping or maintaining a public nuisance and unlawful use of a weapon.
