Missouri Task Force 1 deployed for Hurricane Harvey

Missouri Task Force 1 is headed down to the Texas coast in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency activated Missouri Task Force 1 along with other task forces from across the nation including Ohio, Utah, and California..

The task force is set to leave at 2 a.m. Friday and includes a team of 37, 10 ground support and more than 100,000 pounds of equipment.

The task force is headed to the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas to stage and await their mission.
