Storms continue south of I-70
TODAY: Waking up we will see low temps in the upper 60s to lower 70s with muggy conditions. Into the afternoon, spotty showers and storms are possible again south of I-70. Areas north will stay dry with clearing skies. High temperatures will reach the lower 80s under partly sunny skies and dropping humidity due to light northerly winds.
TONIGHT: Throughout all of mid-Missouri we will see drying conditions as we head into this evening. A light northeasterly breeze up to 6 mph with mostly clear skies will help temperatures drop back into the lower 60s.
EXTENDED: Heading into the weekend, Saturday looks dry as rain looks like it will stay to our southwest. High temperatures will reach the low 80s Saturday with overnight lows in the low 60s. A chance of showers and t-storms returns Sunday with mostly cloudy skies and high temperatures near 80. The unseasonably cool weather continues into next week with a slight chance of rain Monday and again later in the week. Right now Tuesday is looking like the best day for some dry time as temps remain in the low 80s under mostly sunny skies. Another round of on and off storm chances is looking likely into next week as we see continued northwesterly flow aloft causing shortwave impulses to track into mid-Missouri.
