Rain chances for the next several days
THURSDAY: Spotty showers or t-storms are possible Thursday with mostly cloudy skies. These will be very hit and miss in nature, some areas receiving little to no rain. High temperatures will reach the low-mid 80s with a light southwesterly breeze. There is a marginal risk for a few isolated thunderstorms through the afternoon. Damaging winds and large hail look to be the greatest risks.
TONIGHT: The chance of showers and thunderstorms continues through the overnight hours ahead of a passing cold front. Skies will remain mostly cloudy as temps only drop in the mid to upper 60s with muggy conditions.
EXTENDED: An unsettled weather pattern continues from Friday through the weekend as the upper level winds send waves of low pressure through Missouri, giving us on and off rain chances. Another wave of low pressure will move through Friday, bringing the best chance of rain to the Ozarks with lower chances north. High temperatures will reach the lower 80s Friday with spotty showers and t-storms. Heading into the weekend, we’ll pick up another chance of rain Saturday afternoon with best chances south of I-70. High temperatures will stay near 80 both Saturday and Sunday with a slight rain chance Sunday as the upper level pattern remains active across Mid-Missouri.
