Mizzou guard enters transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou guard Anton Brookshire reportedly entered the transfer portal on Monday.

We've reached out to MU to confirm, but we have not heard back yet.

The former Kickapoo High School basketball star played in 18 games for the Tigers in his freshman season. He averaged 1.5 points per game.

Brookshire's best game came on Dec. 7 against Eastern Illinois. He scored eight points in a season-high 25 minutes.

The Springfield, Mo. native is the first MU player to enter the transfer portal since Cuonzo Martin was let go on Friday.
