Mother, father dead after carbon monoxide poisoning in Jefferson City home

A woman has died from carbon monoxide poisoning in her Jefferson City home.

An official press release from the Jefferson City Police Department says that Lisa Feltrop died Monday afternoon.

On Saturday, 51-year-old Troy Feltrop was found dead inside of the home from what appeared to be a carbon monoxide incident. Lisa Feltrop, 44, and her 14-year-old daughter were both taken to the hospital.

The 14-year-old is in stable condition and is expected to keep improving, according to JCPD.

Detectives with the Jefferson City Police Department said a car had been left running in the garage overnight, causing the house to fill with carbon monoxide.
