MSHP: Miller County man dies after jumping from bridge at lake
A Miller County man has died after the Missouri State Highway Patrol says he jumped from a bridge at the Lake of the Ozarks.
According to MSHP, around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Kevin Rowland jumped from a bridge in the Grand Glaize arm of the lake.
The report said he surfaced briefly before going back under the water. He was pronounced dead at 11:30 p.m. by the Miller County Coroner at the scene.
This is Troop F’s fifth drowning for the month of July and the ninth for the year.
