Overnight storms bring high winds across Missouri

Storms rolled into Mid-Missouri from late Saturday night into early Sunday morning. There were three storms reports in Mid-Missouri, all existing north of I-70. Each had to do with wind gusts related to the thunderstorms.

With drier conditions now expected for the next few days, drought conditions throughout portions of Missouri are still in place. On average, Missouri receives roughly around 4.37″ of rain in the month of July. This July, Mid-Missouri has only seen around 1.1″ of rain accumulation, which leaves us a deficit of 3.27″.
