Sweltering afternoon with evening storm chance
TODAY: The heat is expected to reach its peak with the high near 100 degrees. Heat indices will reach near 110115 under mostly sunny skies. Southwesterly winds around 7-13 mph will help give us some relief.
TONIGHT: Storm chances increase after 7PM, coming from the north and pulling to the southeast. These storms could be severe with isolated chances for damaging winds and up to quarter sized hail.
SUNDAY: Rain and storm chances will continue overnight, drying up into Sunday afternoon as a cold front pushes to the southeast. High temps will be in the lower 90s under partly sunny skies.
