Callaway Man arrested for marijuana grow operation
On Monday, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office arrested Billy Garrett, 64, of Kingdom City, at his property located on Harrison Creek Drive, near County Road 156, in northeast Callaway County.
Garrett was arrested for first degree felony trafficking drugs.
On Monday, after an extensive investigation, 475 marijuana plants were found and recovered from an active outdoor marijuana grow operation on the Harrison Creek Drive property.
54 pounds of processed and packaged marijuana were found inside of Garrett’s home on the same property. The street value of the recovered items is $794,000.
