Gravois Mills woman seriously injured after falling from moving truck
A 19-year-old woman was flown to the hospital Sunday morning after troopers said she fell off the roof of a moving Chevy Tahoe.
The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. on Route T near Campbell Drive.
The Highway Patrol said Sequoia Tores climbed onto the roof of the truck while it was moving and fell into the roadway.
The driver, Jared Wright, 20, of Stover, then drove off the right side of the road and hit a ditch.
Tores was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Wright suffered minor injuries.
