Man accused of trying to hit someone with his car

A man is charged in Callaway County after he allegedly tried to hit someone with his car.

Fulton police said they responded to East Sixth Street on Tuesday. When they arrived, multiple witnesses told them a fight broke out over a dog kennel at a home. Daniel Nash then allegedly tried to back his car into a person at the scene. Police said they found tire marks on the driveway and front yard of the house in question.

Nash was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

ABC 17 news previously told you about Nash when he was arrested during a standoff in Fulton on July 3. During Tuesday’s incident, Nash was out on bond for charges of unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest.
