Woman found asleep in vehicle in Morgan County, charged with drug possession

Morgan County deputies seized 16.4 grams of methamphetamine, less than 10 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and plastic bags on Saturday after being called to a suspicious vehicle.

Deputies got to the scene and found a vehicle parked in the middle of Big Buffalo Road south of Stover.

The vehicle was on and Jessica Weaver, of Kansas City, KS, was asleep inside of the vehicle. Weaver was arrested after deputies searched the vehicle and found the drugs.

Weaver was charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Weaver’s bond is set at $100,000, 10 percent cash or surety.
