Heat and humidity not giving up

WEDNESDAY: The Heat Advisory continues until 9 PM tonight for all mid-Mo counties, besides Phelps and Pulaski counties, where heat indices will reach 104 to 107 degrees. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 90s Wednesday. Everyone needs to be aware of the heat as heat indices will be in the triple digits through the majority of the state. Winds will come in from the southwest at 10-15 mph under mostly sunny skies. TONIGHT: Low temperatures will remain warm, falling into the upper 70s. Skies will remain mostly clear for most of mid-Mo with increased cloud cover to the north. Storms in far northern Missouri Wednesday night could make it as far south as HWY 24 in northeastern Missouri by Thursday morning.
