Car chase ends with arrest in Randolph County

A Salisbury Police Department officer saw Brandon Beth of Blue Springs run a stop sign at 24 and 129.
The officer attempted a traffic stop, but Beth fled.

Beth started driving erratically and slamming on his brakes to try and cause a crash with the officer.
Beth then drove towards a set of train tracks where there was an oncoming train and his car got stuck on the first track. Beth barely avoided a collision with the train on the second track. The chase lasted 11 minutes.

Police found out that Beth stole items from a local Casey’s and was also wanted on a felony drug warrant out of Lee’s Summit. Beth was arrested and is in the Chariton County jail.
