Mizzou women’s basketball falls to Arkansas in the SEC Tournament

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team fell short of an SEC Tournament run, as the Arkansas Razorbacks topped the Tigers in the second round, 61-52 in overtime, on Thursday.

The seniors, Ladazhia Williams and Haley Troup, led the charge for MU. Troup finished with a team-high 21 points, along with six rebounds and three assists. Williams had 14 points, 13 rebounds, and one assist.

Mizzou will now await the selection show on March 13 to see if the team earned a spot in the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
