Jefferson City man charged, accused of taking bat to car
On Friday, a Jefferson City man was charged with property damage after being accused of taking a bat to a vehicle.
According to police, the incident involving Emmit Dorsey happened in late May.
Police found Dorsey and a bat with glass shards on it only a few block away from where the victim said a man matching Dorsey’s description had damaged the vehicle.
According to court documents, Dorsey admitted to striking the vehicle multiple times.
The back window and both taillights were shattered.
