Police investigate armed robbery at west Columbia store

UPDATE: Police say two men went into the store armed with firearms and demanded money.

The men were able to retrieve an unknown amount of money and fled.

The K9 unit came and tracked the two men to the back of the business. Police believe the men got into a car.

Police have made no arrests and ask for if anyone saw anything suspicious to call police with the information.

ORIGINAL STORY: Early Friday morning, police were called to a store in West Columbia.

They responded to the 100 block of Buckner Street at Cirillas.

Police were seen inside the building taking notes and walking around the building.

Authorities have not said why there were at the store.
