Dry conditions by the afternoon

TODAY: Through the morning a passing cold front will be tracking through mid-Missouri bringing a line of storms ahead of it. As it tracks severe weather is unlikely as the storms will begin to weaken and fall apart. By the afternoon the showers and storms will move out of SE mid-Mo. Temperatures will be cooler behind the front, skies will be clear, with less humid conditions. Highs will top out in the lower 80s, with no heat index to worry about. Winds will be out of the northwest up to 15 mph. TONIGHT: Tonight will be a cool, but dry one as winds remain out of the northwest up to 10 mph. Overnight lows will bottom out at 57 degrees with mostly clear skies.
