Jefferson City man charged for possession and promotion of child porn

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Cole County prosecutor has charged a Jefferson City man with promoting and possessing child pornography.

Patrick Lockett, 38, is charged with first-degree promoting child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography – second offense.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control arrested Lockett on Tuesday after an investigation by the Division of Drug and Crime Control’s Digital Forensics Investigative Unit and the Missouri Digital Forensic Center.

Officials report evidence was seized at Lockett’s residence on Diamond Ridge in Jefferson City according to a release.

Lockett is in the Cole County Jail being held without bond after being labeled a danger to the community according to online court records.
