Missouri Military Academy names new football coach

MEXICO, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri Military Academy announced that Robert Rosenbaum will serve as its new football coach on Thursday afternoon.

The former Marine will bring more than 15 years of coaching expereince to the Colonels. Rosenbaum has experience coaching in the Pop Warner league in Kansas City and also played college and semi-pro football.

Rosenbaum said his group will have a "team first," mentality.

“Team unity is the only way you win. To succeed, everyone must be going in the same direction,” he said in a press release. “You build on that core.”

MMA Athletic Director Brian Meny said Rosenbaum will bring a wealth of information to the football field.

“His motto is team first with discipline, structure and accountability for all. We are looking forward to seeing our cadets be challenged and succeed by working with him,” Meny said.
