Two Columbia women arrested for burglary

Columbia police officers were called to a disturbance in the 1400 block of Godas Drive on Wednesday.

The adult female victim reported she and her two children, ages 15 and 16, were home when Lakeisha Gross started beating on the door.

The victim reported she didn’t answer the door and Gross came into the house without permission, damaging the door. Gross grabbed the victim’s 16-year-old daughter and physically assaulted her, breaking a bone in her right arm.

The victim said Ashley Gross and another female entered the residence without permission and grabbed her 15-year-old son. Gross and the other female dragged her son from the house by his hair out into the yard and street where they continued to physically assault him.

Lakeisha Gross found a wooden log and struck the adult female on the right side of her head when she trying to stop her children from being assaulted.

Lakeisha Gross, Ashley Gross and the other female were gone when officers arrived at the scene. Officers arrested Ashley Nicole Gross at 1308 Godas Drive for a Felony Warrant for first degree burglary with a bond of $100,000.
