Increasing temperatures through weekend

TODAY: Another sunny day is in store with high temperatures reaching the lower 80s. Winds will transition from out of the west to out of the south around 6 mph. This evening we’ll have mild temperatures dropping back into the mid 50s under mostly clear skies. There will be a light southerly breeze around 3 mph.

FRIDAY: Friday winds will pick up out of the south and temperatures will reach the low to mid 80s under mostly sunny skies. Heat indices will be in the mid 80s as humidity increases.

EXTENDED: It will start to feel even more humid as we head into the weekend and temperatures rise to near 90 both Saturday and Sunday. Heat index values this weekend are likely to be in the low to mid 90s as the humidity will make it “feel” more like summer. It will stay dry through Monday with a slight storm chance next Tuesday evening. A better chance of storms moves in next Wednesday and Thursday as a storm system approaches ahead of a passing cold front.
