Dry weather continues, climbing temperatures for the weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies will allow temperatures to fall into the mid- upper 50s, with a light northeasterly breeze at 3-6 mph.

THURSDAY: We will have another sunny day with high temperatures reaching the low 80s. Winds will be out of the west around 5 mph.

EXTENDED: Friday winds will shift to the south and temperatures will reach the low to mid 80s under mostly sunny skies. It will start to feel more humid as we head into the weekend and temperatures rise to near 90 both Saturday and Sunday. Heat index values this weekend are likely to be in the low to mid 90s as the humidity will make it “feel” more like summer. It will stay dry through Monday with a slight storm chance next Tuesday. A better chance of storms moves in next Wednesday and Thursday as a storm system approaches. For additional weather updates follow us @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter and like us on Facebook.
