Warm and pleasant for Tuesday afternoon

TODAY: Temperatures this afternoon are flirting with the lower 70s and will continue to climb into the lower 80s through the rest of the day. Enjoy this afternoon, as it will be the “coolest” of the next seven. We’ll also see low humidity, thanks to northeasterly winds under 15 mph.

TONIGHT: Temperatures fall back into the upper 50s with a light northeasterly breeze by the later evening hours. Skies will remain clear.

EXTENDED: We will see mostly sunny skies through Thursday with high temperatures in the lower 80s for Thursday and Friday. Temperatures rise for the upcoming weekend with high temperatures near 90 both Saturday and Sunday and rising humidity. Heat index values this weekend are likely to be in the mid to upper 90s as the humidity will make it “feel” more like summer. Our next best chance of rain is looking to hold off until Tuesday.
