Warm and humid trend for the weekend

TODAY: It will be warmer in the mid 80s and more humid over the next two days. Daytime heating will allow for a chance of pop up storms. Widely scattered Unorganized pop up storms are possible after 2PM today, likely isolated west of 63. Severe weather is not expected and rain amounts will be under 0.20″ for most locations.

TONIGHT: Any storms that do get going will fall apart after sunset. It looks partly cloudy and warm again overnight in the upper 60s with a southeast wind under 5 mph.

EXTENDED: Some scattered storms are possible as we head into Saturday afternoon, but the best chances comes by Sunday thanks to a passing cold front. At this time, there is not a risk for severe weather. There is a slight rain chance on Monday morning before 9AM but much of next week looks dry. From Monday afternoon through Thursday night it looks like a tranquil pattern with surface high pressure building with days in the low to mid 80s and nights in the mid 60s.
