Sturgeon man fills prescription of deceased girlfriend

A Sturgeon man knowingly filled his deceased girlfriend’s prescription around March 20.

Ronnie Lynn Long went to Kilgores Pharmacy on 700 Providence Road and filled Brandi Malone’s prescription of Clonazepam, a schedule IV controlled substance.

Long regularly filled Malone’s prescriptions at Kilgores, and the staff was not aware of her passing.

Long was charged with fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance.
