Moniteau County man, woman arrested after arrest warrant served

Moniteau County Sheriff’s Office deputies went to a home on Saturday on North East Street in California, Mo, in an attempt to serve an arrest warrant to Carla E. Hemlin for child endangerment.

Deputies arrived at Hemlin’s home and saw drug paraphernalia inside. Deputies found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, packaging materials and scales.

Kenneth R. Hemlin, 35, was taken into custody at the scene for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Carla E. Hemlin was also taken into custody for the outstanding warrant for her arrest.
