Tolton center finds a home away from home in Mid-Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

At just 15-years-old, Tolton center Evens Appolon found himself 1,800 miles away from home, following his dream of getting an education in America. The junior now lives in Columbia, however, he originally hails from Port-au-prince, Haiti.

“There’s so much stuff going on over there. So, you have to work hard and be something in life," Appolon said.
