Missing Branson man injured in Columbia crash

A missing endangered person from Branson has been found in Columbia after being injured in an overnight crash.

The Branson Police Department confirmed with ABC 17 News that Thomas Harpool’s family had been notified he was in the two-vehicle crash. A Silver Alert had previously been issued for him.

The Columbia Police Department was still investigating what caused the collision just after 1 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway and Providence Road Tuesday.

They said Harpool received a laceration to the head and was driving the vehicle that collided with the northeast traffic pole (pictured above).

Police said the two occupants of the other vehicle appeared to be “okay.”
