The opioid crisis on “This Week”
At upwards of $60 billion dollars a year, the social cost of the opioid epidemic in America is twice the entire Missouri state budget.
The overdose death rate in the U.S. is greater than entire population of Jefferson City.
Those are some of the reasons ABC 17 News is hosting “Battling the Opioid Crisis: A Town Hall Meeting” next Thursday night.
Branden Rathert from 93.9 The Eagle will co-host the event with ABC 17’s Marissa Hollowed.
