WATCH: Time-lapse video shows Business Loop being covered in ice, snow

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The winter storm that has covered the area in ice and snow started dropping precipitation in Columbia at about daybreak.

By about 1 p.m. a trained spotter in south Columbia had measured an inch of ice accumulation and 3 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. This video shows the storm coming in and continuing as day breaks.
