Boone County man charged with assault after strangling family member
A Boone County man was charged with domestic assault, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful use of a weapon after strangling a family member.
According to court documents, Christopher Dwayne Brown was charged with previous assaults in addition to the domestic assault on May 8.
During the May 8 assault, Brown waved a gun around in a threatening manner with a child present.
