Muggy nights, warm days & storm chances

TONIGHT: It will be mostly clear and mild tonight with lows in the mid to low 60s. Winds will come in from the south tonight from 5-10 mph.

TUESDAY: It will feel more like early July as temperatures climb into the upper 80s under mostly sunny skies. It will be breezy with southerly winds at 10-18 mph gusting to 25 mph at times.

EXTENDED: The warm weather continues through Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 80s each day and muggy nights in the 60s. The next opportunity for rain moves in early Wednesday morning with spotty showers and t-storms possible through Wednesday afternoon. Thursday looks mainly dry and very warm with increasing storm chances in the evening. Periods of storms are expected Thursday night through Saturday. We’ll have to watch for the potential of a few strong or severe storms along with heavy rain. A preliminary look at rain through the end of the week indicates 1″ to 3″ possible by Saturday evening.
